My craft practice is strongly influenced by ideas and traditions surrounding the body, sexuality, folklore, nature, ritual, and healing.

I aim to explore these ideas through illustrations, forms, and ritual objects.

I like to play with what is functional or decorative and the places where these two areas cross over to create objects which can be functional but are also decorative and intriguing.

I have a strong sense of ethics within my practice, I do not want to work with materials that are not sustainable, and creating objects that follow more of an emotionally durable design theory is critical to my happiness with my work.

I am very politically minded in a lot of ways, and I think that challenging modern perceptions of class status, gender and sex are central for me as someone who aligns with mostly leftist and somewhat anarchic principles.

I think that the wildness and bravery that I am aiming to convey in my practice will only be strengthened by a strong political standpoint. I am also very concerned with the environment and as such, I am committing to abolishing plastics from my practice as they do not align with what I want to represent or bring into the world.

Within my work and business, I also want to stand up for the rights of people who are suffering as a result of discrimination.
